What Skillify is

Skillify starts from expert decision moments, not from generic model summarisation. An expert walks through cases, judgment calls, and the edge handling that usually stays in one person’s head. Skillify extracts reusable decision logic from that interview. The expert then reviews the result so the strongest reasoning is tightened before it is treated as capability.

The output is a protected skill artifact: reviewable, attributable, and only used where a design partner has agreed. Skillify is being developed within Blackkite Ventures as a focused effort to make that judgment layer usable in AI-powered investment workflows without pretending foundation models already solved it.

Why this is not generic AI

Generic models can restate the obvious. They are less reliable when the job is to notice which assumption just broke, what should be weighted next, and how an exception should change the path. That layer is usually tacit. If it is not captured, checked, and kept usable, partner workflows stay fragile where edge cases matter most.

Skillify’s job is the judgment layer, not another interface over an ungrounded model. The partner still owns the operating process and the decision. Skillify supplies reviewable reasoning that can travel with that process.

What Skillify is not

How expert IP is handled

Expert IP and partner data stay permissioned. Interviews, case walkthroughs, draft artifacts, and partner context are private by default. Nothing is published or shared publicly without agreement. Attribution happens only when an expert or partner explicitly agrees. Use remains governed by the applicable expert or partner agreement.
