How it works

From expert interview to a permissioned investment workflow

Skillify · Last updated: 21 August 2026

Skillify is one connected loop. Expert judgment is captured, validated with the expert, then packaged as reusable AI capability for an agreed, permissioned investment workflow. The same reasoning that starts in an interview should still be reviewable after it is used in a partner process.

Definition. The Skillify loop turns tacit expert judgment into a private, reviewable skill, then inserts that skill into a permissioned investment workflow. Validation means the expert checked the extracted logic. It does not mean a trading result, a signal, or automated execution.

Expert cycle

Work starts with the expert, not with a generic prompt. The interview is grounded in real cases: what was noticed, what was weighted, what was ignored, and how exceptions were handled when conditions changed. That material is usually undocumented. Capturing it is the first job.

  • Interview: real cases, judgment calls, and the reasoning behind them
  • Extraction: reusable decision logic, triggers, and edge-case handling
  • Review: the strongest reasoning is tightened and checked with the expert
  • Validated artifact: a private skill the expert can review and keep attribution over

The expert remains the source of the judgment. Skillify does not replace the expert with a model summary, and it does not publish raw interview material. The artifact is private unless a later agreement says otherwise.

Design-partner cycle

Once a skill is validated, it can be packaged for a concrete operating context. The design partner names one investment workflow where expert judgment would change output quality: a research review, a scenario pass, or a related operating process. The capability is inserted there, not left as a memo.

  • Packaging: structured logic ready for a concrete operating context
  • Workflow: the capability is inserted into an agreed investment process
  • Output: workflow results shaped by validated expert judgment, not generic summarisation
  • Feedback: new partner cases and expert review tighten the capability over time

The partner keeps the decision. Skillify supplies a reviewable judgment layer that can travel with the workflow. Deeper involvement is possible after a pilot. It is not assumed by booking an intro.

What validation means

Validation here is expert review of extracted decision logic. The expert confirms that the reusable form still matches how they actually decide, including the unglamorous exception handling. It is not a performance claim, a backtest, guaranteed alpha, or a substitute for the partner’s own process.

Trust boundary

Public materials about this loop are illustrative. Skillify does not provide investment advice, trading signals, order execution, broker routing, client-asset management, or guaranteed outcomes. Expert IP and partner context stay permissioned and are not disclosed publicly without agreement. Experts should not share employer-confidential or client-confidential material in interviews.

FAQ

How does Skillify capture expert judgment?

Through interviews grounded in real cases. Skillify captures judgment calls, the reasoning behind them, and edge-case handling, then extracts reusable decision logic for expert review.

What does validation mean here?

The expert reviews the extracted reasoning and confirms it still matches how they decide. Validation is expert review, not a market result or a performance claim.

What happens after a skill is validated?

The skill stays private by default. If a design partner has an agreed workflow, the capability can be inserted there. New cases continue to tighten it.

Does this loop execute trades or issue signals?

No. The partner keeps the decision. See the Disclaimer for the full non-advice boundary.
