Expert judgment capture

Skillify ยท Last updated: 21 August 2026

Capture starts with the expert, not with a generic prompt. Skillify records how an expert actually decides on real cases, then extracts reusable decision logic so that judgment can be reviewed, attributed, and used only where a partner has agreed.

Definition. Expert judgment capture is the Skillify method of taking tacit expert reasoning from real cases, extracting reusable decision logic, and checking it with the expert before it is treated as private AI capability. It is not a prompt pack, a public library of expert logic, or a trading signal.

What gets captured

The interview is grounded in cases: what was noticed, what was weighted, what was ignored, and how exceptions were handled when conditions changed. That layer is usually undocumented. Capturing it is the first job.

  • Real cases and the judgment calls inside them
  • Reusable decision logic, triggers, and edge-case handling
  • The expert's review so weak spots are tightened before the result is treated as capability

What does not get captured

Experts should not share employer-confidential or client-confidential material. Capture is not a request for a live book, a client list, or raw partner data. Public materials about this method are illustrative. They do not disclose expert logic or partner context.

From capture to a private skill

After extraction, the expert reviews the result. Validation here means the expert confirms that the reusable form still matches how they actually decide. The artifact stays private by default. If a design partner has an agreed investment workflow, the capability can be inserted there. New cases and expert review continue to tighten it.

The full loop from interview to permissioned workflow is on how it works.

Trust boundary

Capture does not produce investment advice, trading signals, order execution, or guaranteed outcomes. The partner keeps the decision. Interview material, draft artifacts, and partner context stay permissioned. See trust, validation, and rights for how ownership and disclosure are handled.
